That should be saved in NVRAM and not require power. Replacing caps shouldn't effect that so my answer would be no.
VP 540 was released 11 y ago and the average capacitor lifespan is over 5 years CONSTANT use.... just tellin'

Anytime you do anything with a main board you should back up parameters. It's just good practice. It takes 2 seconds and could save you in a bind.
I've had my machine for close to 8 yrs.What is the best way to save the parameters with out the peck tool 4 if i'm changing out the capacitor?
