I agree, Popping bubbles is a HUGE no no. Moister will get under it, and ruin the wrap.

after a few days those will most likely start to bubble. That specific vehicle isn't too bad.. but on a sprinter you will run into issues...

Unless you're using ij480, which i can promise, still might pop. We cut and drop into channels. Those recesses are just too deep, and no primer won't help.

I'm not familiar with the cut & drop method, can you elaborate more clearly, (step by step)?

You lift and relay in that area. Yes there are times where they are completely unavoidable, especially if you're inexperienced, but straight up giving lessons saying it's ok to pop.. well it isn't.

nothing wrong with bubbles. adam is just being a prima donna.

just dont use a knife to pop them. use a poker.

air release material traps an inherent amount of air in certain climates. bubbles will form regardless of what you do after a short period of time. just lance them with a poker.

This is amazing! I don't do wraps bit this video makes me appreciate the manual labor and technique it takes to install a wrap! Kudos to the guys in this industry.

Ok, so you are saying you don't apply the vinyl into the recess, you let the white paint be exposed?


According to 3M (see video) you shouldn't stretch the vinyl more than 30% in any recess, right?
