Carbide plotter blades

Holy crap! Let me jut say I should have taken the advice of others and tried these a long time ago. I went to order some new Roland blades from Feller's and I saw that they are nearly $19.00 each. However, we normally used standard steel blades for the longest time and I never felt like trying the super sharp blades because I thought they cost so much more and they couldn't possibly make that much difference. Boy, was I wrong. They not only cut cleaner and with less pressure, but I'm certain they will likely last 10 times longer than steel blades. I will never go back to steel blades. Lesson learned.

I use nothing but these blades especially for PVC films and they hold an edge nicely, but the very tip is brittle. I always wince when I sometimes hear it break off in the middle of a job.

I just got a new shipment of Super Sharp Blades from Wensco, I was looking for some cheap Chinese ones that I use to use, but these popped up and they are pretty good, as I cut a lot of Heat press vinyl (glitter) I use a lot of blades, but if they work, so be it.

Ordered 10 carbide blades from china for my Roland cutter. 5 of them 45 & 5 60. They costed like 1 dollar each LOL. I am very curious to see how they will perform. Even if they would last 1/3 of the regular blades that we pay around $20 per blade, i would be happy to go thru chinese blades and would not feel bad throwing old ones in the garbage after 2-4 weeks of use.
