If I can find PVC that won't sag, that might work too :D Thinking 2" or so diameter would be strong enough over 70". Will have to pull a few at Menards and whack somebody with them for testing.

Regardless, I can afford to spend $50 in materials on this, lol. It will save more than that in time and product that is not damaged due to improper handling. Not sure how everyone else is handling this stuff, but I have 80' on the take up roll right now, and I need to print another 25' of one media and 40' or so of another today. Now I need more cores for my take up roll!

It would be good to have your rack hold 2 or more rolls so you have the ability to shift from 1 roll to another, or put a partial roll on another.
