Wow, what a gorgeous spot. . . and fish! Here were still walking on ice although with the spring runoff the steelhead will be coming up the rivers soon.

With the title, I was assuming you'd be talking about those pre-lubed catheter kits they keep promoting on TV.
:)
I myself am not a fisherman but I love to go fishing.
We go on the Mon (you cannot eat the fish you catch so we throw them back in)
There are some monster catfish in there as well as some huge carp.
It's the most relaxing way to spend a day.
This year I plan on bringing my sketchbook.
Love....Jill

Jealous... lakes here are still frozen. Went ice fishing last weekend but it just isn't the same.

I know right! My friends have been nagging me to go all winter but I dunno.... I'd rather hold out for spring fishing.

I'd much rather be out on a boat on a nice sunny day, beer in hand....than on a frozen lake freezing my a$$ off and only catching a cold! :banghead:

Agreed. Sitting over a hole holding a roll of line in one place, bundled up in snow gear because you just had to push the car out of a snow bank after getting stuck in an attempt to get onto the lake.

Give me a boat on an open lake any day. :thumb:

We went up to Erie last weekend and it was way too cold to fish.
There were ice fishermen out on the lake...but who would want to do that?

Around here the water doesn't freeze, so we can fish year 'round.

My brother took his kids to visit my sister who lives in Durango at xmas.
Said it was like -30c or something stupid.
Hard it imagine that kind of weather from here.
Think I've seen snow twice or something.

Looks like the weather's a bit kinder to you there John.
