CE6000 - cut fully through material with mat

Hi all!

So as anyone who has seen my posts knows, I am obviously new to all of this. Catching on fast but having one final issue - I'm cutting using a mat so I can fully cut through my contour cuts...however, having it at full force cuts still don't cleanly separate from the sheet. Even increasing blade length doesn't help. Any suggestions?

Do you have your blade holder seated properly? On our 8000 the blade holder deceives us where it seats. We always have to make sure it seats fully in the down position or top of the blade holder.....Not midway.
