Cet printing white ink on recycled board

I've been having difficulty printing white or anything with white underneath without it turning out grainy or spots of missing ink i use a cet color 500 flatbed.

I dont have white but another guy right by me has mentioned that to get a nice white you have to be going very slow (he has a 500 with 20 heads and does a high quality white in almost an hour I believe) - message me and I will get him to reach out to you. We were actually discussing this earlier today.
My quick suggestion would be -
1. make sure material is clean and static-free
2. run it at lower than 1.0x
3. reduce your screen to .25x
4. higher resolution will give you more consistent and heavier color
5. if that wasn't enough try running it uni-directional

are you dropping your vacuum pressure during white printing? also try setting your white ink heads at a much higher temperature.

current temp is 50 and pressure is at -3.4 any lower and the black ink drops out, i was able to get the white to print without that crater like texture now i have to fix the light blue that goes over it it has a grainy texture and looking through a magnifier there little spots of magenta like its not blending too well.

3.4 is really high for white. perhaps your black will need to be lowered to thicken it up a tick(?).

sorry i used the wrong term if i drop it to -3.3 the black will start to pool and begin dripping out of the print head.

i'd take the "recommended vacuum" settings with a grain of salt. we had tons of issues with our cet and after getting the canned tech response the fix was dropping the vacuum way below speck and cooking the ink in the offending head. my printer (flora h700) recommends 2.8. i run at 1.6. i colleague was about to dump his h700 because of drop out. he lowered his pressure to 1.6 and his printer worked perfectly. the relationship between viscosity (heat) and weight (vacuum) power (voltage) is up to the user not the OEM. oddly drop out is caused by high voltage (blow out).

thicker ink (white ink) = higher voltage, higher temp, lower neg pressure
thinner ink (black ink) = lower voltage, lower temperature, (white require low neg pressure)
