Looking to purchase my first flatbed. I will be making a decision this week. Looking for help deciding between these two models. Any input would be greatly appreciated. This is a big step for me and just want to make sure I take everything into consideration. I am from Oklahoma.

Mimaki supports the JFX200 for the first year with Mimaki employed techs. That means you don't have to deal with dealer techs for the first year. I had a customer in the middle of nowhere Michigan where the plan tickets are $1000 at least to get there. He was having some issues with print quality so Mimaki sent a tech out to help him within 2 days. If he had been near a big city it would have been even quicker. For an entry level flat bed I would definitely go with the JFX200. They are solid machines and Mimaki is a major manufacturer you can trust.

The JFX is how I was leaning. The local dealer I normally buy from is a Roland and Flora. Roland flatbed is really slow and Flora is not well known and at $109k I need just a little more info from other users. I have a company that sells mimaki but doesn't service them. While talking with them it doesn't appear they know anything about them. The mimaki sales team gave me a name of a salesman in TN that has techs that cover my area. Would you go with mimaki techs who are 6 hours away or a salesman with a tech that covers the area. I don't know the salesman at all but mimaki says he specializes in flatbeds...
