CGI 1500 by 3M anyone ever heard of this?

It is a code given to me by an architect and we all know what that means..... probably from 1976

My dealer has no such code and I googled it and still got nada.
I know it is a frosted window film and I sent the guy the 2 types I can get from my 3M dealer, and he refused both.

Do I need this?

I figured it out..the CGI stands for the CONVENIENCE GROUP, and you know what that means...they have renamed a product to their own spec and now it gets spec'd to architects and we are forced to buy from them. I wonder if it is even a 3M product?

I will request a sample and see who's it is.

I find it hard to belive that these guys can do stuff like that and we all have to figure out how to deal with it.
personally I could care less if I get the job, but knowing I need to purchase from them, it means it will cost a small fortune in raw materials.
