Changing the default color for hairlines with Bezier Tool

Every once in a while I need to do a lot of redrawing using the bezier tool and I like to use a color other than the default black when I am drawing. Is there a way to change it to default to a color like cyan instead of having to pick that color every time? If so, how do I do that?

click bezier tool. before drawing, rclick the color you want (to set stroke color) - that should now be default

That works, but you do have to choose for it to apply to "artistic text". Thanks.

hmm worked for me just now by only choosing 'graphic'

It may be the version I am using. I use both versions 12 and X4 and I was in 12 at the time.

Do you have the object properties docker open? You can do bunch of stuff in there.
