Looks great ...A whole lot better then Orlando's which looks like a parade cars.
I do like that it is clear reading and strong, even with the added colors.
Do think the red could go all the way to the bottom on the front edge but it all looks great.

The 2011 Chargers have a very defined body line on the hood as well as each side. If you look close at them the body line mimics what I did with the "red" line areas. They go from a point to a fat line then back to a point. Hence the not going all the way to the bottom. I also mean for them to mimic a highlight or glare just the opposite as one would shadow a shape.

Was it difficult to match up to the body lines? I've got a similar task with the new Caprices.

Body lines were kind of tough to match but I made a template from paper, took a picture of it and then drew it in illustrator.
Graphic shop.... Nice work too. With the charger there are such defined body lines that I have a feeling most designs will be similar. They are hard to ignore. The client also wanted to make sure the dark color wasn't low on the body line to show dirt. I waxed it before it left my shop and I have a feeling that may be the first and last time it is this clean.
One little squeal but don't tell.
It goes to the outfitter Monday. It is getting the brush guard-push bumper.

No reflective at all???
Every police/sheriff/fire/municipal/etc we do is almost 100% reflective (unless it's just a show/DARE car). It also has the front/back done so that when they're behind/in front of you you can tell it's a police officer.
I've never put anything like that on the hood either, seems like that money spent there could have been used towards reflective material. (IJ680CR comes to mind)
Also, although the fonts used on the unit numbers & "to serve & protect" look cool - this is a police cruiser; not a regular wrapped car. It needs to be simple & official text. I could see doing this on a private security vehicle but not on a municipal vehicle.
I can't seem to find any laws on it like the NFPA Conspicuity Standards for firetrucks & ambulances, but there should be something somewhere...

Never saw one without reflective. Except for that fleet of Domino's pizza cars they just bought for the undercovers.

It was not up to me to not use reflective. NONE of the cars in our town have reflective. Posting a bunch of crap about laws or regulations really isn't that helpful but thanks. if you have never put anything on the hood, maybe it means you are just like others. Boring. Try something new once in a while instead of cookie cutters.Anyway.... I could go on, but you already know it all.

So, in essence since the police use the saying all the time, it should be quoted. That is what the English teacher told me anyway. Or is it anyways like kids say now?
