Checks made to "Miscellaneous Vendor"?

Received another check from the customer today to correct who it's made out to, and it's made out to me but for $1400 more then the invoice. LOL

I will never have someone write out checks for my company if i ever become bigger than a one man show.

Hope its a local company.. more often than none this is a common "scam" and they ask you to send them a check/wire for the overage amount.

No scam, It's a local customer. I have met them several times. It's a construction company.

Owner was pissed on the phone that the lady messed up the check again, She said "What the hell is she thinking" lol
