I got a book a while back called Citizen Soldier which was about WWII soldiers and how most only got about a week of boot camp before they were pressed into battle. A lot of them were killed within a few days or worse yet, got the experienced guys killed as well. The experienced guys didn't want to get to know the replacements because they knew they would be dead shortly and they didn't want to have to remember them.
For whatever reason this got me to thinking about customer supplied artwork from those that are 'starting a clothing line' and at the same time learning AI or are and 'artist' that wants to have their works put on t-shirts, banners, and everything else. Sometimes we get the 'artwork' in Word documents, sometimes an eps which contains a 1" bitmap at 72dpi. Sometimes we get vector art with thousands of curves that are smaller than the eye can detect.
Very rarely do we get a file that is good enough to work with though.
So I have come up with a name, Citizen Artist, for those that are pressed into service without the needed training or experience to do the job right. I don't want to know their name because they will probably be dead tomorrow and I don't want to be close by when it happens.
