CJ-540 to SC-545EX

Can you guys help me ho to change printer name from CJ-540 to SC-545EX. I have upgraded firmware but it still shows CJ-540. I am trying to use it ith wersaworks but it wont recognise printer, I am sure it ould work if i change name in firmware. I know its posiblle but dont know how, Thanks in advance

This is incorrect.

You will need to find a dealer who will release the dip switch settings to get the printer to say its a SC model.

Once the correct switches have been made you can then use a copy of versaworks.

Thank you for reply. I did change switch by myself on main board and did other adjustments and it works. It is conected with wersaworks and registered with Roland
