CJV150 Bad Test print and overspray

#Mimaki [HASHTAG]#CJV150[/HASHTAG] causes problems and creates over spray at the edge of the print.
we noticed that the printing test is bad with a curved alignment on black.
we made several attempts to clean the nozzles, filling up ink, changing the Dampers, cleaning the encoder, but without any result
We hope to find some help.

Have you examined the bottom of the print head for physical damage or ink buildup on the head surface? What condition is the cap in, perhaps it should be replaced...

• please check the capping adjustment
• look for Air bubbles entering the ink line or head
• How old is your printhead? Your head may have completed its lifetime

No physical damage and ink buildup.
I haven't changed the 3 cap sponge for over a year.

I would replace all the sponges and the captop, redo the cap adjustment and report back... Perhaps solventinkjet.com has some additional thoughts...

My first thought was head strike as well. Definitely replace the cap top especially if it's old and make sure your pump isn't clogged. Then run a head soak. If that doesn't recover those nozzles, it could just be a head failure.

Thats pretty much what my test prints and print jobs look on my jv33. I need a head. Hopefully that isnt your problem.
