CJV30-60 finding media width

New Member
Recently purchased a CJV30-60 (24" machine). Completely new to the print/cut machines. I am loading 20" media (Siser ColorPrint PU) into the machine. I am using two pinch rollers. Each time I load the media it is detecting 14.40" wide.

I am assuming it should recognize the entire width of the media (probably less the hold downs). What am I missing? I obviously want as great a yield as possible from the material.

Thank you for any insight you may be able to pass along!

The CJV30 measures the material by measuring the pinch roller location. If your 2 pinch rollers are 14.4" apart, that is what it will measure. Put the pinch rollers at the very edge of the material so that they are completely on the material but right next to the edge. That will give you the biggest yield.
