When I replaced the head, one of the pins on the ribbon cable broke off. The new one will be ordered, but will only arrive in 2-3 days. I think the new head is a kind of liquid that prevents it from drying out. I don’t think anything will happen, but what do I do with my ink lines that don't dry out as long as the printer is off?

Usually 2-3 days isn't going to cause much clogging and if it does, it's usually really easy to recover. I would simply keep the head capped and run a cleaning once everything is back together. If you wanted to go an extra step just to be safe, soak a lint free cloth in cleaning solution, drape it over the cap top, and then park the head. That will keep the nozzles wet.
