Cleaning Idea? Head/Damper/Lines

I just replaced my capping station. My falcon outdoor is in need of some major love from sitting for a good two weeks.

My idea is this.

Plug cleaning cart into black slot. Suck lines/damper full of solution. Then park head, pull cleaning solution through caping station. Then replace black cartridge and continue to pull through capping station....
Repeat for each color...

Is this a good idea? bad idea? am I missing something?

I might first pull solution before damper? then damper... that way avoiding any dried ink clogging damper.

If you've got plugged nozzles, do a head soak first.
The nozzles will dry on the bottoms side of the head, this is where you want cleaning solution.

wouldn't it help to run solution from both sides?

I am currently soaking the heads also.

It can help.

Really depends on how deep the nozzle plugs go.
I personally have found that head soaks are the most effective.

Hopefully others will provide their input.
