Cleaning solution

hello all i was wondering what everyone elst thought about using acetone straight on the jv3 160 for cleaning purposes. i heard that you could cut it down so it wouldent be so harsh? any ideas would be greatly appreciated.:thankyou:

Do a search for cleaning fluid, the Mimaki guru (Artbot) posted a recipe for one a while back (1 part acetone to 4 parts butyl something (I'm old, can't remember what it's called). We learned the hard way that acetone will really mess your heads up, drys out the nozzles, took about 24 hours to bring them back. You could probably clean most of the rest of the machine with acetone, capping station etc. We just use Artbots solution anymore.
