Clear/Translucent Coroplast

We just had a customer request a few 4x8 sheets of translucent coro... They will be using it for a stage backdrop. We have never seen this material before, and I'm wondering what people use this for?

most coroplast that isn't specified as opaque is, indeed, translucent in the fact that light is able to travel through it, although in a limited fashion. If they want clear coro, they should go to a greenhouse/gardening supply center

I've actually printed on it, it might also be called milk carton coro or natural coro. We mainly got it for a very temporary use to go a translscent panels inside an aluminum extrusion box, with color lights inside the box.

I think it was for some stage type decoration, but its been a few years ago, I still have 3-4 sheets on the shelf.

Sure they aren't asking for the clear(ish) coro?

It's out there. It's the natural color of polypropylene without any pigment in it. It's not really clear, a little closer to something like frosted glass.

4x8 sheets will be tough if you can't find a local supplier.

You might also consider fluted polycarbonate. That can be purchased at building supply stores that sell stuff for greenhouses and pole barns, like menards - but it's much more pricey.

The natural coro is mostly used in the packaging industry. You could check with some corrugated box suppliers in your area too.
