Cloth Awning Lettering

I have a cloth awning that they want lettering on. Is there a way to mask it and paint it, or is it to be masked and eradicated. It looks like they had someone paint/letter some other letters on it.

I have masked and painted them before.
You can dust over the application tape adhesive side with a fine coat of talcum powder before you cover the masking material, so the app.tape will release easily from your mask,
then have a heat gun & a roller to press down the mask on the awning and use very low pressure of air on your spray rig to spray paint it. You will need to have the awning at your shop, laying flat,it would be too difficult to mask & paint it on the site

Look up "FabTac" stencil.. it's a stick kraft paper kinda stuff, you iron it on to hold better, paint a prime close to the color of the fabric to avoid bleeding, then paint your color.

or use heat transfer vinyl like eco-plus or something.
