Clunking Slapping Noise in 1604

My 1604 is making a slapping clunk noise as the head moves across the print...

I took the lid off and saw that the ink tube strap thing was binding up and then ker-slapping against the floor. When I manually slide the white clips to the right it goes away for a pass or two then binds up again.

I suspect worn out clips. Looks like the are designed to slide 1/2" back and forth as that thing moves, but mine is getting jammed up on the left.

Anyone agree? Got a source for the white clippies??? Or ALL the clippies??

You might want to remove the cover and try and discover the source of the noise.

jiarby's is pretty obvious, he is local and I will exchange a couple of clips to see if it is actually the clips.
