CM24 button pad

Anyone else had a problem with the bubble-type buttons?

The left-right-up-down jog buttons, I mean.

I find the 'down' button is inop.

Possible solutions are as follows;
-a major rebuild (by me heh heh) to drill some half-inch holes in the casing and install four toggle switches,
-continue waiting for Roland to respond (they don't even know where Belize is!) or
-track down a parts supplier.

If you've encountered this defect before or have any ideas for a workable solution, I'd be very grateful for your input.

Thanks in advance.

CE-24 Key Pad Problem

Hello Paul...

I too have a CM-24. Blew a the MOTHERBOARD (ouch!) I was my fault thou.

Anyway get a hold of BRIAN @ www.cammtech.com.

He will fix you up.

Or take a world cruise and maybe by the time you get back Roland may have returned your call!!!!!!

Hope this helps.

Let me know.

Weeeeeell, I've emailed Cammtech every day since and no reply. Every time I call (every hour or so) 'all their operators are engaged'. They can't be hungry...

Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Bump

If anyone can recommend a supplier for a CM24 keypad/button pad I'd appreciate that very much.

Thanks in advance.
