Pretty neat.
I wonder if they sell them with different temperature levels set.
Don't think they would work for me. With the way I gulp down coffee they'd either be very hard to recover after swallowing or become a choking hazard if they don't make it all the way down and out.

Thinking it over, I wonder why they didn't just build the same cool down - stay hot feature into a thermal mug.

I measure my consumption by the gallon (OK, litre ), not the cup. Interesting idea though for those who sip.

seems like too much of a pain in the ***. take them out of your empty cup, clean them, put them somewhere, loose them....

when the coffee's too hot, drop in a ice cube, when it's too cold, pop it in the micro....

neat idea, not practical....

I expect they will sell a crap-load of these. Great giftware product. They're easy to ship for mail-order, they're shiny (very important), have a bit weird science in them for the geeks and they support an extremely popular addictive product. Vast networks of coffee houses are already in place to flog these things world wide. Where can I buy stock?

I do think they'll sell a bunch but they'll also get sued when someone chokes to death on them. Not a practical idea besides I like my coffee room temperature .
