I get the attached photo color ink band when I do a test draw on my Mimaki JV3-160p. Anyone have any ideas?

I think most problems like this usually result in bad ribbon cables or slider board.
Try switching ribbon cables between heads.

+1 thats classic bad data

edit: to eliminate the head being bad: TURN OFF MACHINE and switch cables for magenta and cyan (or black - yellow is just harder to see) -- if its still an issue with cyan, its the head. if it moved to magenta, its either the cable or 'behind' it

edit 2: switch them AT the head

Update

I unhooked all ribbons from slider board and heads. Re-hooked ribbons and ran test draw. Test draw came back with black, magenta, cyan but no yellow (see photo). Ran a short print and some light black lines showed up in the middle of the print but not on sides.
