Color problem

Hi. I am trying to print a pdf of an illustrator file. Everything seems fine until we print and the dark colors come out mottled, or incomplete. I am printing a yellow background with red and black text onto banner material, and using a sc-545ex. I tried changing the quality of the pdf, with no help...I even changed the red to a versaworks swatch...with no improvement.Once again, the color seems spotty on the red and the black. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks....

I saved the pdf as a high resolution. I am new to the printer, as I have just started.

Have you tried saving it as an EPS out of Illustrator instead of a PDF?

try to change the color mangemnet in the vesawork ------ (qulity - color mangement) and make yours

how do your test prints look, especially group A?
