Colorspan 98UVX - UV Control Error - Help

Alright, so I upgraded to an HP FB500 a couple months ago. In the mean time I moved my Colorspan 98UVX printer up against the wall about 10 feet from where it was sitting and it has been plugged in. Now that I turn the printer on I have a UV Control Error message. The printer was only unplugged for about 5 minutes. How can I get rid of this UV Control Error message? Can anyone recommend a good technician in the South East?

The Controlboard is inside the E-Box "place in the Middle, left to the mainboard"

It means it's not talking to the UV power supply.. check that the UV supply is turned on and that the cable is properly connected..

UV Power Supply is on. Data cable is plugged in. Any chance the UV control board needs to be replaced? If so does anyone have a part number for this?

Alright, so the problem was the 240V Power Supply inside to the UV Box. The guys over at CMS (California Media Service) helped me diagnose the problem. They supplied me with the part and sure it enough it was the fix. These guys really know their stuff on these machines.

On a side not, does anyone know any tricks to recovering clogged nozzles on these Colorspan Printers?

that printer has konica heads right? when we had our used 16 konica 512 head CET flatbed installed. the heads were clogged. soaking them for a day in OEM cleaner didn't help. i suggested using NMP. we syringed NMP through the heads and they came back 100%. we continued to cautiously use NMP over the months because we weren't sure just how hard on the heads this solvent was. in the end, it has no ill effects at all.
