Coloured window perf?

Hi. I did a quick Google for this but found no results so I thought I would come to the people who REALLY know. :)
Is there a COLOURED window perf available? A client wants his windows coated out in a single colour, no image/text.

Thanks,

Mark

Print it...

Thanks Mosh, but I'm trying to avoid that. Customer has 13 good sized windows to cover (with the possibility of more locations) and we thought a pre-coloured perf would be better than print/lam perf, in this situation.

sub it out if you dont want to print it.

a specific perf color coming standard? odds are a million to one

Right now we are not looking for a specific colour. We were just seeing if coloured perf was available, and if so what colours it came in. However, judging from the responses, coloured perf is a fantasy.... :)

Print it is then!

Thanks for all the input. :thankyou:

I have NOT tried this, however it seams like the best approach would be to paint it (much faster and cheaper).

Just have your customer pick a color, get some enamel, either thin it down and spray it or use a smooth roller and roll it on the window perf material.

If spraying, you could cut the sheets to size and hang on a wire with some weight on the bottom, the spray would pass through the perfs.

A few years back I did some day/night letters with colored perf. I don't remember though who the manufacturer was though...I think it was Arlon (I google searched and found it). However, this is cut vinyl and therefore does not have the black backing. If this is going to be for window prints then you're going to need the black backing which I don't think any manufacturers provide in multi-colors. Looks like printing is the best way to go.
