It’s a mimaki CJV30.
apparently the little edge guard meant to protect the media was “making a little noise” while printing.. and then bent up and stabbed the head in the face!
Big scratch right down the PH and the actual head casing.

I haven’t had printer trouble quite that bad, but I can relate to the chaos of returning from vacation to unexpected issues at work. It’s like everything falls apart the moment you step away. Hopefully, the engineer can fix it quickly, though I imagine that’s going to be quite the repair.
