compound cutting paths

New Member
Hi All

When i try to cut a graphic which has three seperate cut paths in it (motorcycle panel) the cutter (gerber hs15) cut a path then drags the blade over to the next path without lifting the blade fully, so damaging the laminate.

If i cut multiple images with one cut path each it does not drag between them.

It is a setting i am missing or should the three paths be seperate or compound??

Any help really appreciated.

Cheers

Matthew

In Illustrator I use Pathfinder to Merge individual paths. Then I click Compound Path>Make. This leaves you with a single "contour" for cutting.

Hope this helps.
