Constant robo calls from Google for free web site hosting

I get a similar recording:

Press 1 to update your Google listing...

I sometimes get 2-3 calls a day with this recording. All dead end numbers if you try to call them back. Very annoying. These businesses calling themselves "Google specialist" should be fined top dollar for calling people on the do not call list.

Technically business lines are exempt from the national "do not call" requirement. I put our numbers on there anyway and it does seem to slow them down a bit.

Not actually Google... its a reseller. We also get a few a week from companies that initially say they are with the federal government. If you ask so you are with government.... they quickly change their pace. Just another company that wants to charge you a few grand to help you get on gov contract or schedule....

Definitely not with Google, they're just trying to get your web/search business so they can slam 15,000 cheap backlinks from fiverr at your site, point you at the #1 SERP result and walk away with your cash. Then a month later when your site is delisted they won't have any idea who you are.

Me too. Block one number, get calls from two different ones. Hell, I've blocked so many numbers on the shop phone I'm surprised the thing even rings now.
Same here. I have at least hundred numbers on my blocked list. They get by once then I block them till they use a different number and block it.

I converted all my land lines to cellphones and with Android you can down load a app that you can block unlimited numbers. When I had landlines my phone system could be programed top block up to 50 numbers they just got a recording stating this type of call was not accepted and hung up.

Do you know what the app is called? I can think of a few #'s I would like to block from my phone lol.
Reverse lookup is the one I use. There are others but I like how this one brings up the callers info and even states if it is a telemarketer and has options what to do with the call.
