contour cut issue...

Anyone have problems with a contour cut line not working?

I did a batch of decals on my SP300 and some cut fine, and some others just totally missed about a 1/4" of the contour cut line...like it was never there.

This isn't the first time it's happened.

make sure that you have an EPS offset. Check Job, File type. Note EPS needs an offset.

If it's Versaworks go to edit go to the top under file edit queue settings. Go down to file format.Set the EPS Margin to 0.25

Give that a try.

If you are set to inches, .25 will put an extra .50" between the cut lines...not a major deal when printing large stuff, but you will waste material if grouping large quantities of ssmall ones. I bumped mine down to .04" and have had no issues...the EPS margin just has to be set to something other than "0.00"

I did what you said Kenny, and it's still not cutting about a 1/4" of the contour cut line.

I'm going to play with the numbers I guess and see which one works for me.
