I have to quote some contour cut magnetics & was wondering how most of you would price somthing like this. It's about a 12"x18" in the shape of the Home Improvement TV show logo. They are wanting to order 10 sets.
Thanks in advance!

What they have now is 30mil. I think with printed vinyl on it & it's shrunk almost 1/4" all around.

that is alarming, a 12" x 18" having 1/4" shrinkage.
How old are the magnets?

for the OP, your standard magnet price and then the shop hourly fee for contour cutting, where they know that the total will not be known till AFTER finished.

or buy them some scissors and let them do it

you can cut them with your plotter (well really scoring is easier, you can 'pop' the graphics template out afterwords ... or just hand cut them after you install the vinyl, just include some way of having a score line to hand cut (with a ruler on straight cuts, hand cut on round). 10 pairs should only take about 20-30 minutes to hand cut, probably take about 10-20 minutes to cut with a plotter (including set up, test cuts, etc).

Don't know how old they are, we didn't do these for him. See attached photos. The black around the edge is the mag material where the vinyl has shrunk.

to me that looks like they countour cut the magnet. Then printed a decal and contour cut that and then the sizes didn't match so they just stuck it on ther anyways.
