Contour cutting Glass Adhere?

Has anyone successfully Contour cut Glass Adhere?
The material is so thick and the backing so thin and flimsy,
the plotter is either not cutting deep enough or cutting through the backing.

You may have to re adjust your blade depth and then mess with pressure to get what you need. I had to buy a second blade holder for just this issue on carbon fiber i bought,I made my blade stick out just a fraction more than its supposed to be and then changed pressure and it was perfect. Its just an idea for your issue..

What plotter? For some materials on the sprocket fed plotter you have to do multi-cut at lighter pressure to achieve good results. However, a friction fed plotter would never be able to do well with multi-cut.

I'm glad you said that, that's what I had in mind to try.. and I actually have a work around to do that on my friction fed
plotter, I lay one or more cut path directly on top of each other and combine the multi layers of each object together..
That way the plotter will make the multi cuts on each object before it moves onto the next object..if that makes sense

What angle blade do you like to use?

i use a 45*. i have a 60* but never used it. And i use a titan 2 28" cutter,

I use a 45 degree blade on a roland xc-540 with 190 grams of pressure. We normally cut calendered vinyl ranging from 140 to 175. We had no issues...

It was really easy to weed.

It is finicky stuff when it comes to contour cutting with a narrow sweet spot that seems to change every time I run it. We make a ton of glass decals for a window manufacturer, and I run them on both of our Roland printers. I use a 60 degree blade, always do a test cut before each run, never seems to stay consistent. I start at 180g and go up or down till it's desirable and use the pressure that works best for the run... 99% of the time it works.
