Contouring with Fpro 7.6

Ok- we work with contours a lot and I find the contours somewhat
awkward to work with in 7.6. I my old reliable v5.7 you can select the
contour color by turning the other colors off- in 7.6 I have not found a
way to reliably select the contours. I sometimes have to open the resulting
eps in my wasatch rip to tell if the contour is correct. You can have a contour
on the same line as a graphic component and not see it. Am I missing
something here? Thanks Gene

You should be able to see it and select. It's med gray. Did you separate it from the graphic?

Try this, select one of the contours then go to> edit> select by attributes.

Hi Mike- yes usually it is after the contour has been separated- before that
you would see the contour tab in design central.. unless you have done another
effect after the contour- for instance an outline to try to make a
bleed on a letter. I have never understood why there couldn't be more than
one tab for effects at a time- I suppose it would get out of hand. Anyway-
we sometimes do complex contours by separating the contour and modifing
it- after separating the attributes selection no longer works. Good idea tho-
I had hopes for it but it does not work- also won't detect a contour made
with the arrange>contour cut command. This is the kind of thing I am looking
for tho- something I have over (or under) looked. Thanks Gene
