Contractor Partial Wrap

I'm trying to find a pic where the blueprint of the house is blended into a pic of the finished house. Tried all the usual searches and combinations of words to no avail. I just need it to float the idea past the client.

I think it would have good impact in this area. Especially since contractors generally here spend as little as possible on signs.

I don't remember the name anymore, but there is a contractors software program on the market that does exactly what you're asking.... and from any stage to any stage. It's so they can take a drawing and show how many boards, to how many nails in the preliminary stage to a finished drawing.

We did some trucks for a guy, using his program. we gave it back, but it was sweet.

You could break it down to lumber or wiring to where all the joints were gonna be and a few clicks.... it morphed into a building or a room or even the landscaping.

..why don't you ask the contractor.....it would be really cool to incorporate the actual blueprint in the design.

I would just find a picture of a full house, then draw over half of it in blueprint style in corel or illustrator, take that layer back in to photoshop and fade it in in to the original.
VOILA!

Try using a wrap which integrates their brand instead of photography. The concept will be difficult to discern from a distance, and if you do pull it off, it will be hard to know who it is the ad is actually for.

Unless its for a box truck, perhaps.

After I gave it some thought and tried a couple houses. I found the large wheel opening wasn't doing me any favors. House had WAY to much missing. Looked like poo. This is the rough draft. Tear it apart.

Not bad. How about an outline on the lettering to create some contrast in the blue of the truck from the lighter blue of the lettering?

I personally don't like the lettering that low, looks like it's sliding down off the door, that just my opinion thou. Also my eye is drawn to the back as it stands out, whereas the name doesn't really catch your eye.

Outline on the lettering will help for sure. Wife said the same thing.LOL It was a first attempt at a new technique I found. Practice, practice, practice...

Your opinion is welcome regarding the lettering.
Wanted to try a different style and placement. Couple things need to be reworked to make it livable.

As far as the print on the bed:
I'll try a regular old style blueprint look on the bed of the truck or I'll add a hue/saturation layer to what is on there. Maybe get close to the color of the truck.

Have to wait to see what the client thinks before I put more time in it.

I can gvie it a shot once I hear from the client. I like different input and ideas. One of the things I miss about being in a classroom.

Have to hash that out. Wasn't thinking terribly far ahead. More to give the client direction.LOL This was the roughest of rough drafts. Where the blue is at the front of the bed may be a possibility. But then I will have issues with whole primary/secondary copy deal.
Maybe just below the bed rail...
