Converting printer to printer/cutter

Hi I am wondering is it posiblle to add cutter to FJ-540. I dont know if there are diferences in mother board snd the rest of electronics. I would appreciate any input. Printer is Roland FJ-540 and I would try to make it CJ-540. Thanks in advance
