I have just purchased CJ-540 printer that uses Dye sublimation ink. I would like to convert it to exo solvent. Can somebody help me with right procedure about cleaning heads and flushing system. I was thinking to use Simple Green to flush lines cartridges and print heads. Than I would use Bytil Carbitol straight, no acetone to flush it one more time, and than I would put eco solvent ink. What do you guys think?

On which media do you want to print on? The problem is: for printing on vinyls, banner and so on, a built-in media heater is needed. The CJ540 (Cammjet) regularly don't have one.

I will install heaters. I would like to use existing print heads. So I am interested if somebody knows what solution to use to flash them from sublimation ink and than switch to eco solvent. I dont want to clog heads. The rest of the conversion I am fine....
