Well, another thread got me thinking... might as well share some knowledge.
1. Print on optically clear, then apply to metallic RTA.
Gives a metallic sheen to translucent ink, can still see patterned vinyl underneath. Very cool effect. Laminate with top layer of lam if needed.
2. Print on frosted laminate (we used a textured 6mil non-slip floor laminate), apply to glass. Vibrant, metallic looking colors with a very nice sheen - looks good from inside and outside glass.
You guys do anything out of the norm, out of the spec with lam? Besides coating your cellphone in it?
