Corel 12/Graphtec Issues with Macros

I have an old file which I created in GA6.2 in 2004.
I can export it into Corel.
But when I sent it to the plotter, I get this message about node subpath
(pic #1)
Then it either freezes or I close out of Corel and this other message
(pic #2) pops up.
I have no clue what macros means, the file came from my old computer which has never been connected to the internet or anything.
But I am about ready to slash my writs and gouge my eyes out with a Spork.
Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
:thankyou:
I have cheated it by some creating copying and pasting but cannot make it work on this particular item.

Jill have you tried to cut something else since you saw this error?

You may want to just try and cut any word just to make sure it isn't an issue with you connection.

If you want send me the file in either Corel or GA and I will open and export it.

Jill, you have something on a layer that's turned off. Make sure everything you want to send is on the same layer and there are no other layers with ANYTHING on them.

I get that error all the time and it freezes up X3 too.

Delete any layer that's got something on it and it should work.

This is a work around, I'm not sure what the real solution is.
