Need Help Corel 2017

I have Corel 2017 and RD Works CAD..,...Yesterday they played well together. Today....not at all. I save a file in Corel, and save it again as an DXF file and RD Works says it doesn't exist:) Spent several hours trying various work arounds without success. I'm about ready to delete BOTH programs and reload. Has anyone else run into a similar problem?

is the file particularly small just out of interest? I seem to remember having this problem with RD Works before have you tried exporting it to an .AI file in Corel and importing that from RD works?

Not a particularly small file. Of course the plot thickens:) Yesterday evening I tried again and everything was going fine until.........I turned the laser on one last time and nothing happened. There's power to the machine, I only found one circuit breaker inside so now I have a call in to tech support. Hopefully it's something simple and thanks for the reply!
