Corel to Flexi Problem

Hi- I'm new to the sign biz and am working with CorelDraw X3 and Flexi Starter Desay Edition. I am having problems with importing an image into Flexi from Corel. After I design a graphic in Corel and save it either as a jpeg, vector, pdf or anyother format and import it into Flexi to cut it I get a error message in flexi that says "No cuttable object with current setting". I have tried every possible combination of file format's I can think of and cannot get it to work. If anyone has any experiance with this- any help or information would be great-

Exporting as an AI from X3 works fine for me

Thanks a million- that did work once I changed the version of AI from CS to 7. Man was I gettn frustrated- Thanks Again-
