Corel x4 and X5

Can Corel X4 and X5 both live on the same computer at the same time without any conflicts?

Yes. I have X3 and X5 on the same computer, so I don't see why X4 and X5 would be any different.

Just make sure you don't have any plugins that might get confused. There are some plugins that want you to uninstall all previous versions of CorelDraw before you install whatever the latest one happens to be for you.

Other then that, I don't see why you should have a problem.

Not a problem with CoCut :^) The plug-ins auto-install in every version of Corel on your system, along with anything else that's compatible, such as Illustrator and FreeHand.
