CorelDraw X4 - Spacing Text...

Anyone else have this issue? I just installed Corel X4. Notice what happens when I try to space my characters in a word...Instead of moving apart, they just squish together. What's up wit dat?

Tallington BETA? It says traditional & modern in the font list here. Does it do that on all type

Yes, on all fonts. It's weird.

Shape tool, then use arrow thingy on bottom right to spread letters apart.

Ah ha! I figured it out. I had an envelope applied to the word, and I guess that was constricting the text. Phew! I was about ready to blast X4.

before you last msg i tried to duplicate your issue and couldn't .. i have been pretty happy with X4
