Corner Radius

Is there a way to take a radius and make it a square corner again. I've got a file of a bunch of letters and numbers that are in curves and It was custom drawn so there isn't a matching font that I can find. I need to scale these down but the radius have to stay at exactly .016 and if I scale them down the radius will shrink. Any ideas?
