I have been using the Bull Steel EZ stakes from Fellers but they're up
to $2.48 a piece (case of 25) and they don't seem as sturdy as they once were.

Just wonder if anyone has any better options.

I happen to like the Spider Stakes from Grimco. They are made in America and hold up exceptionally well to abuse.

My customers like them because they don't lay over in the heavy winds.

I have had several customers call me about the spider stakes snapping off at the ground from high winds.

I also have had customers say the spider stakes snap off. I emailed the company but no answer and it has been months. I stopped using them, I guess I will just eat the remainder of what I have.

Spider stakes don't work for us either. They are snapping in the wind. Like
the look of them but they snap too easily.

I sticking with metal stakes, just wish I could get a better price or
a better stake for the price.

What kinda winds are you guys getting?? I am in Florida and we get pretty high winds here year round and I haven't had one snap yet. I have one I know has been exposed to 50mph gusts with a sign on it and nothing has happened yet.

Maybe it has something to do with the cold? Plastic might get more brittle.

I love the Ver-Mac units, and for me shipping is hard to beat... They are here in my hometown!! I think the hd ones are like 1.26 each? hard to beat.
