counter cutting help.

i cannot get my plotter to contour cut, it reads like 10 registration marks and then just rolls through the whole roll. i need help please. the sign is a little over 13ft long

I have a fc8600 very touchy if theres not enough room after the reg marks for the paper sensor no go. some days it will cut fine but then it needs to be watched while reading the marks. Good luck
