creating gradient drop shadow in Flexi

I know I saw how to create a gradient drop shadow here - on this site - somewhere.
Thought I saved it - but cannot find anywhere
there was a 16% raqdial (4 times) involved - if anyone knows what I'm referring to.

Create the drop shadow with the normal Flexi tool. Separate it. Convert it to a transparent bitmap. Use the bitmap blur tool full on 4 times. Full on is 16 pixels.

This produces a rather anemic and somewhat unsatisfactory faded drop shadow.
