Making America great, one sign at a time.
hello everyone!
So, i am sick and tired of a crashing cs5.5 suite on my mac. after reading how adobe really dropped the ball in the software for mac, time to upgrade.
i had four drives on my mac pro tower.
i grabbed a spare and fresh installed 10.7 ( i used to run 10.6.8. more on that with number #2)
1. adobe cs6, ouch. speed kills.
2. flexisign 8.5.1 - guess what? it works and CUTS with 10.7. ( i read the sentinel driver install to do first!)
3. adobe Muse. i love this program.

So far i have been switching OS's during start up so i don't lose productivity, and this is the best way to upgrade your computer, period. can windows do that? NO.

i am down to the last part. i upgraded my font agent pro software, and now have lots of thoughts.
1. i have too many EFFING fonts.
2. see number 1.
3. how should i manage these installs of the fonts better? the old way had all the fonts in one set.
4. Some of these fonts are from 1990. ideas?
5. font agent pro does not work with flexi, so how would you manage that? all the fonts are in a separate folder, which you have to do manually. total PIA.
i was trying to install all the flex fonts into a new "set" with FAP, and the program crashes every time. i thought i could create a work around with FAP and flex being creating a separate set. nope.
who would have thought that fonts would be the biggest PIA, ever.
