Cropping shapes in Flexi?

Running Flexi 8.1 and wondering about cropping shapes with pictures. I know I can go ahead and do it in AI but I try to do as much in Flexi as I can. I know this is probably a pretty simple answer but for how much I use Flexi I do not really know.

Are you trying to create a mask and crop a picture?

If I have a picutre of what not and want to crop out part of it lets say in an oval shape or something like that is what I am talking about...Sorry for the explanation I have listed

OK, sounds like you want to create a mask then.

Draw your shape over the photo, select both the shape and the photo, then go to ARRANGE>MASK>MASK.

That should be what you're looking for.
